Executive summary : Honest good clean file, no bugs! :)
The full story : During the installation and configuration of new phone systems at work we needed an audio file transcoded to the format that Panasonic wanted (specs at bottom). After some research I came to the conclusion that I needed a copy of sndrec32.exe from Windows XP since the Sound Recorder in Windows 7 was unable to do the transcoding (nor was Audacity if you're looking to go that route). Had a hard time finding a copy of sndrec32.exe that I could feel good about double clicking so when I did get a copy I thought I would upload it for others having the same requirements. Enjoy.
Phone system info for those searching
- Panasonic KX-DT456 and 453 handsets
- KX-NCP Panasonic Pur IP-PBX
- KX-TVA Panasonic Voice Processing System
- Audio format required for the Panasonic system is IMA ADPCM codec, 8.000 kHz, 4-bit, mono
I got the file from Matthew, here. Thanks Matthew.
